Screen Printing.
So I finally got round to some grown up proper art and went and did a screen print.
"Mickey" started out as a doodle and here he is as not only my first big proper print but also my first piece for sale online.
This, of course, could not have been possible without the help of Chris Folwell, who gave advice, help, equipment, paint and pretty much everything needed for me to do this so big shout out to him, be cool and check out his links below.

EXHIBITION TIME!
Sick of spending your Friday 13th's wearing hockey masks and hacking sex crazed teens to death?
Then YOU should head along to The Settle Down Cafe at 6pm and have a butchers at some adolescent scribblings by yours truly.

Dugg the Dog
Since I haven't started any real exhibition work yet I've been keeping myself busy with a comic strip.
These are some rough ideas of the two main characters, Trailer Terry and Dugg the dog.
The rough idea is Dugg is a zombie dog that's been dug up (get it!) by Terry.
The two get into some undead capers, yadda yadda, you get the drift.
I'll post more when they're done.

Dan Ash HQ
Well, its been a good while since I've done anything with this blog lark and the last few posts have been a bit soppy!
So here I am making a triumphant return!
And letting you know that I might not be on for some time, well, maybe not. I'll see how things turn out.
By some miracle I've managed to blag an exhibition all to myself! I know! And by doing so I've let myself into a whole new world of hurt, I'm grafting my little impish boy tits off trying to make sure that the work I'm gonna be showcasing for you lovely folk is the best it can possibly be! And by the looks of the ideas that are scrawled down in my mysterious book of hopes and dreams, they're gonna be off the flippin' hook!
No doubt I'll be leaking tit bits and sneak peaks when I can so keep you eyes open and I'll be bombarding the lot of you with advertising within the last few weeks leading up to the show!
Apart from that it's all hush hush and under wraps.
Take care,
Dan.

EXHIBITION BOMBARDMENT!!!
Well the exhibition has one day left to go then it's onwards and upwards! Already on the hunt for more exhibition spaces and have enough piece ideas to fill them.
Apologies for the short post and lack of anything witty/clever but I've been popping flu pills since the beginning of the exhibition and it would appear that I've now got an immunity to them. So I'm ill as, well, you get the idea.
Hopefully be getting my mitts on an A3 scanner so will hopefully be able to put more detailed images up of each piece.
Yadda yadda yadda,
Dan.

Exhibition!
This is it! The official countdown to the big event, it's been quite a journey and quite the challenge to not journal it through my blog since I haven't posted any artwork. I did this purely because I want every piece at the exhibition to be new and exciting for the viewer but they'll all be getting posted here afterwards so if you miss the show don't worry (that isn't an excuse not to go though).
With three different artists with three different styles this is a show that is guaranteed to blow your brains. So come down and have a drink, a look about and a conversation with some happy folk.
Cheers and take care,
Dan.

Held at The Sanctuary Art Space
Hope to see you all there!
New piece!
Here's my latest PG piece that I will hopefully be selling in Blackwells, I'll be sure to let you all know how it turns out.
Dan.
